Feature: Decontamination Tent
Recently manufactured for the Lower Hutt District Health Board was this custom designed and built decontamination tent. The DHB provided a number of parameters that the inflatable structure needed to work within - a quick set up time, water tight catchment floor surface and a removable roof and wall membrane were pre requisites for the structure.
The final concept was a design made up of 3 seperate components. An airtight inflatable frame was manufactured with welded attachment points, where the removable PVC membrane would connect. A one piece watertight PVC floor is then attached to the base of the frame.
The entire inflatable tent can be erected within 5 mins and is manaufactured in seperate components to allow for effective and easy clean down after a decontamination session.
